Kellyanne Conway wasn't ready for Jake Tapper's comments on the Racists and Anti-Semites backing Trump

Former Federal Prosecutors sign Open Letter criticizing FBI Director James Comey

A group of former federal prosecutors signed an open letter criticizing FBI Director James Comey's pettiness.

Over the weekend, Comey dropped a cryptic bomb over new emails connected to Hillary Clinton. However, it seems to be nothing but a bad plot to tilt the election. .

Hillary Clinton’s campaign drafted up a letter and sent it out to former federal prosecutors.

Here's the letter

As former federal prosecutors and high-ranking officials of the U.S. Department of Justice, we know that the impartiality and nonpartisanship of the United States justice system makes it exceptional throughout the world. To maintain fairness and neutrality, federal law enforcement officials must exercise discipline whenever they make public statements in connection with an ongoing investigation. Often, evidence uncovered during the course of an investigative inquiry is incomplete, misleading or even incorrect, and releasing such information before all of the facts are known and tested in a court of law can unfairly prejudice individuals and undermine the public’s faith in the integrity of our legal process.

For this reason, Justice Department officials are instructed to refrain from commenting publicly on the existence, let alone the substance, of pending investigative matters, except in exceptional circumstances and with explicit approval from the Department of Justice officials responsible for ultimate supervision of the matter. They are also instructed to exercise heightened restraint near the time of a primary or general election because, as official guidance from the Department instructs, public comment on a pending investigative matter may affect the electoral process and create the appearance of political interference in the fair administration of justice.

It is out of our respect for such settled tenets of the United States Department of Justice that we are moved to express our concern with the recent letter issued by FBI Director James Comey to eight Congressional Committees. Many of us have worked with Director Comey; all of us respect him. But his unprecedented decision to publicly comment on evidence in what may be an ongoing inquiry just eleven days before a presidential election leaves us both astonished and perplexed. We cannot recall a prior instance where a senior Justice Department official—Republican or Democrat—has, on the eve of a major election, issued a public statement where the mere disclosure of information may impact the election’s outcome, yet the official acknowledges the information to be examined may not be significant or new.

Director Comey's letter is inconsistent with prevailing Department policy, and it breaks with longstanding practices followed by officials of both parties during past elections. Moreover, setting aside whether Director Comey's original statements in July were warranted, by failing to responsibly supplement the public record with any substantive, explanatory information, his letter begs the question that further commentary was necessary. For example, the letter provides no details regarding the content, source or recipient of the material; whether the newly-discovered evidence contains any classified or confidential information; whether the information duplicates material previously reviewed by the FBI; or even “whether or not [the] material may be significant.”

Perhaps most troubling to us is the precedent set by this departure from the Department’s widely-respected, non-partisan traditions. The admonitions that warn officials against making public statements during election periods have helped to maintain the independence and integrity of both the Department’s important work and public confidence in the hardworking men and women who conduct themselves in a nonpartisan manner.

We believe that adherence to longstanding Justice Department guidelines is the best practice when considering public statements on investigative matters. We do not question Director Comey’s motives. However, the fact remains that the Director’s disclosure has invited considerable, uninformed public speculation about the significance of newly-discovered material just days before a national election. For this reason, we believe the American people deserve all the facts, and fairness dictates releasing information that provides a full and complete picture regarding the material at issue.

The letter is signed by nearly 100 former federal prosecutors including Eric Holder.

Bloop! DNC files motion against RNC over Intimidation of Minority Voters

This is some tea.

For a while, Donald Trump has been telling his legion to watch folks at the polls, mostly in areas with lots of people of color. Then, the DNC jumped in and found enough evidence that Trump was up to no good. So now, they are coming for his ass.

The DNC is asking a federal court to hold the RNC in contempt of court for allegedly violating a decades-old consent decree limiting so-called "ballot security" activities at poll places.

Here's more:
The Democrats' filing Wednesday, among other things, ask that the consent decree -- which is set to expire Dec. 17 -- be extended for another eight years. The DNC is also asking the court to block any coordination between Trump and the RNC as it relates to Election Day poll monitoring activities that many fear will amount to voter intimidation.

The legal move by the DNC comes in response to Donald Trump's calls for vigilante "poll watchers" to come out in force nationwide on Election Day. The RNC had hoped to be freed from the consent decree as soon as next year, and Trump's actions now threaten to hobble the GOP for nearly another decade, if Democrats have their way.

As Trump has amped up his rhetoric claiming a "rigged elections" and urged his supporters "go over and watch" voting sites in "certain areas, the RNC has tried desperately to distance itself from the campaign's poll monitors efforts, given the consent decree. But Trump campaign hasn't made that easy. Wednesday's filing cites comments made by Gov. Mike Pence (R-IN), Trump's running mate, at a town hall event and by Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, to the Washington Post suggesting collaboration with the RNC on anti-voter fraud activities.

(Conway later told the Washington Post she was mistaken and the RNC at the time also denied collaboration).

"Although certain RNC officials have attempted to distance themselves from some of the Trump campaign’s more recent statements, there is now ample evidence that Trump has enjoyed the direct and tacit support of the RNC in its 'ballot security' endeavors, including the RNC’s collaboration on efforts to prevent this supposed 'rigging' and 'voter fraud,'" the DNC's court filing said.

The filing also points to the activities of state party leaders who are also members of the RNC that appeared to be inspired by Trump's comments. The Pennsylvania GOP -- led by chair Robert Gleason, also an RNC member -- recently sued to allow for poll watchers to monitor voting sites outside their own precinct, which is currently prohibited by state law. Michigan Republican Party Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel, an RNC member, said last week that the party's attorneys were preparing "a massive statewide anti-voter fraud effort."
It's about to get bad for Trump, and I'm excited about it.

Trump TV is coming? Maybe?

Y'all, they think they're slick.

If you've noticed, Trump TV is slowly launching.

On Facebook Live, Trump's surrogates have been doing these talkshow-ish specials. It hasn't gone unnoticed, though.

Here's more:

Tonight, the Trump campaign is kicking off a show that will air on the candidate’s Facebook page every night at 6:30 pm ET via Facebook Live from the campaign war room at Trump Tower. The show will be hosted by Boris Epshteyn, a senior adviser to the campaign, Tomi Lahren, a conservative commentator for Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze, and Cliff Sims, another Trump adviser. In tonight’s inaugural episode they will interview Trump campaign manager KellyAnne Conway and adviser Jason Miller.

The series, which will stream Trump’s rallies directly each night and feature pre-and post-event commentary, comes on the heels of the campaign’s debate night Facebook Live last week, which brought in more than 9 million views.

Members of the media quickly seized on the event, calling it a test drive for Trump TV, the post-election television network that Trump is rumored to be considering in the event he loses in November. Despite reports that his son-in-law has been talking to media dealmakers about Trump TV, Trump himself has denied he has any interest in such a thing.

Epshteyn says this nightly Facebook Live stream is simply a way for the campaign to circumvent the mainstream media Trump so publicly loathes. “We all know how strong the left wing media bias is. This is us delivering our message to voters,” he says. “It has nothing to do with Trump TV. It’s about using 21st century technology and communication in a way that’s effective.”

Interesting Quote: Erick Erickson

Donald Trump got Hillary Clinton elected President. Then calling her a nasty woman during the final thirty minutes of the debate drove away the last few women who were supporting him.

You know it is bad when Laura Ingraham, one of the chief priestesses of the Cult of Trump, went on television and, when introduced as a Trump supporter, said she supported his ideas, then openly said he should said he’d accept the results of the election.

Republicans need to do all they can in the next three weeks to preserve the House and Senate. Because Donald Trump himself just handed Hillary Clinton the White House.

Hot Trailer: LOGAN

This is the last Wolverine movie and it might be good.

It's going to be based from the “Old Man Logan,” comic written by Mark Millar.

Team Nasty Woman

This debate was a mess again!

Trump managed to stay sane for 20 minutes and then, as predicted, he crumbled. He went on his rants, fumbled with the mic and brought back his "wrong" phrase.

When asked about the women who accused him of sexual misconduct, he said that they are lying and Hillary probably hired them to attacked him.

When asked the economy, he went on a rant that didn't answer the question.

Trump was a mess and Hillary was the president.

This is a death threat by Trump supporters against Politico reporter Hadas Gold

The Trump supporters are getting waaay out of line! Look at this

Here's more
According to BuzzFeed, the threat was reported and the account was suspended.

"Politico notified Twitter of the threatening and vile tweets, and Twitter acted promptly to suspend the account. There were many more tweets and emails, some even more vile if that is imaginable. A police report is in the process of being filed," a spokesperson for Politico told BuzzFeed.

The threat to Gold is, unfortunately, not unusual. Supporters of Trump, white supremacists and the alt-right have used Twitter, Reddit and 4chan to harass and coordinate virtual attacks on journalists, Jews and people of color using a series of memes and coded language.

Donald Trump’s Total Meltdown on Time’s Cover

from TIME
The Oct. 24 issue of TIME may look a little familiar to some readers. In order to capture the latest twists in Donald Trump’s campaign and the rising anger within the Republican party leadership about their standard bearer’s behavior, we asked artist Edel Rodriguez to reprise his illustration of Donald Trump which appeared on the Aug. 22 issue of TIME—this time with just one small twist.

Interesting Quote: Kamie Crawford

“As the first (woman of color) to win the title in almost a decade — I was forewarned prior to meeting him that, ‘Mr. Trump doesn't like black people. So don't take it the wrong way if he isn't extremely welcoming towards you. If he is, then (you) just must be the ‘type’ of black he likes. Now again... I'm 17. Raised in the suburbs of Potomac, MD. Only experienced racism personally ONCE and it was outside of my hometown. SO needless to say, I was totally caught off guard and super nervous (because) this is supposed to be my boss I'm meeting — and he might not like me ALREADY?”

NYT Reports: Two Women Say Donald Trump Touched Them Inappropriately

Lord this is BREAKING NEWS

From the New York Times, 2 women are speaking out about Trump groping them. Here's more:

Donald J. Trump was emphatic in the second presidential debate: Yes, he had boasted about kissing women without permission and grabbing their genitals. But he had never actually done those things, he said. “No,” he declared under questioning on Sunday evening, “I have not.” At that moment, sitting at home in Manhattan, Jessica Leeds, 74, felt he was lying to her face. “I wanted to punch the screen,” she said in an interview in her apartment.

More than three decades ago, when she was a traveling businesswoman at a paper company, Ms. Leeds said, she sat beside Mr. Trump in the first-class cabin of a flight to New York. They had never met before. About 45 minutes after takeoff, she recalled, Mr. Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her. According to Ms. Leeds, Mr. Trump grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.

“He was like an octopus,” she said. “His hands were everywhere.” She fled to the back of the plane. “It was an assault,” she said. Ms. Leeds has told the story to at least four people close to her, who also spoke with The New York Times.

Mr. Trump’s claim that his crude words had never turned into actions was similarly infuriating to a woman watching on Sunday night in Ohio: Rachel Crooks. Ms. Crooks was a 22-year-old receptionist at Bayrock Group, a real estate investment and development company in Trump Tower in Manhattan, when she encountered Mr. Trump outside an elevator in the building one morning in 2005.

Aware that her company did business with Mr. Trump, she turned and introduced herself. They shook hands, but Mr. Trump would not let go, she said. Instead, he began kissing her cheeks. Then, she said, he “kissed me directly on the mouth.” It didn’t feel like an accident, she said. It felt like a violation.

Arianne Zucker released this statement

“My name is Arianne (R-E-on) ZUCKER (Zooker) and I am a strong, independent, hard working mother, business woman and partner to a great man. I have grown to learn that the words of others cannot effect the value of my self worth or define the content of my character. How we treat one another, whether behind closed doors, locker rooms or face to face, should be done with kindness, dignity and respect. Unfortunately, there are too many people in power who abuse their position and disregard these simple principles and are rewarded for it. In understanding the magnitude of this situation, I choose to stand tall with self respect and use my voice to enrich, inspire and elevate the best of who we are as people”.

Arianne has been on “Days of Our Lives” for 18 years as Nicole. She shouldn't had to endure this mess.

Paul Ryan Won’t Defend Trump. But He Still Endorse Him?

This is weird.

So, Ryan said that he won't defend Donald Trump, but he hasn't unendorsed him.

Here's more:
Ryan told Republican members of Congress on a conference call Monday that they “all need to do what’s best for you in your district,” according to someone on the call. Ryan said he wouldn’t campaign with Trump for the rest of the election, but added that he wouldn’t withdraw his endorsement of the GOP nominee.
“He made clear to members that his decisions are being driven by what is best for his members, not himself,” the source on the call said. “He is willing to endure political pressure to help protect our majority.”
Ryan seems to be suggesting that he would unendorse Trump if he were on his own. But the speaker is not on his own, and he’s signaling that he believes there would be a negative down-ballot effect for Republicans if he were to pull his support.

This is Rock Bottom- Cruz calling for Trump

30 GOP Congressmen shade Donald Trump

30 former GOP Congressmen signed a letter slamming Donald Trump today.

Here's the bulk of it:
“Each of us has taken an oath of office that conferred upon us a solemn obligation to act in the best interests of the United States. As Republican members of Congress, we took pride in representing a political party that stood for honest and principled public leadership in which the American people could place their trust,” they wrote in a joint statement. “Sadly, our party’s nominee this year is a man who makes a mockery of the principles and values we have cherished and which we sought to represent in Congress.

Given the enormous power of the office, every candidate for president must be judged rigorously in assessing whether he or she has the competence, intelligence, knowledge, understanding, empathy, judgment, and temperament necessary to keep America on a safe and steady course,” they wrote. “Donald Trump fails on each of those measures, and he has proven himself manifestly unqualified to be president.

Every day brings a fresh revelation that highlights the unacceptable danger in electing him to lead our nation. It is in that spirit that, as Donald Trump’s unfitness for public office has become ever more apparent, we urge our fellow Republicans not to vote for this man whose disgraceful candidacy is indefensible,” they said. “This is no longer about our party; it’s now about America. We may differ on how we will cast our ballots in November but none of us will vote for Donald Trump.”

The list of signatories includes: Steve Bartlett (R-Texas), Bob Bauman (R-Md.), Sherwood Boehlert (R-N.Y.), Jack Buechner (R-Mo.), Tom Campbell (R-Calif.), Bill Clinger (R-Pa.), Tom Coleman (R-Mo.), Geoff Davis (R-Ky.), Mickey Edwards (R-Okla.), Harris Fawell (R-Ill.), Ed Foreman (R-Texas, N.M.), Amo Houghton Jr. (R-N.Y.). Sen. Gordon Humphrey (R-N.H.), Bob Inglis (R-S.C.), Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.), Steve Kuykendall (R-Calif.), Jim Leach (R-Iowa), Pete McCloskey (R-Calif.), Connie Morella (R-Md.), Mike Parker (R-Miss.), Tom Petri (R-Wis.), John Porter (R-Ill.), Claudine Schneider (R-R.I.), John “Joe” Schwarz (R-Mich.), Chris Shays (R-Conn.), Peter Smith (R-Vt.), Edward Weber (R-Ohio), Vin Weber (R-Minn.), G. What Mike Pence Said on LGBTQ Issues

TIME magazine highlights a lot of Mike Pence anti-LGBTQ stances.

Check it out
He said gay couples signaled ‘societal collapse’

In 2006, as head of the Republican Study Committee, a group of the 100 most-conservative House members, Pence rose in support of a constitutional amendment that would have defined marriage as between a man and a woman. Citing a Harvard researcher, Pence said in his speech, “societal collapse was always brought about following an advent of the deterioration of marriage and family.” Pence also called being gay a choice and said keeping gays from marrying was not discrimination, but an enforcement of “God’s idea.”

He opposed a law that would prohibit discrimination against LGBT people in the workplace

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act would have banned discrimination against people based on sexual orientation. Pence voted against that law in 2007 and later said the law “wages war on freedom and religion in the workplace.”

More than 20 years after the bill was first introduced, the Senate approved the proposal in 2013, but the bill failed in the House.

He opposed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell

Pence favored the longtime military policy of not letting soldiers openly identify as gay. In 2010, Pence told CNN he did not want to see the military become “a backdrop for social experimentation.” The policy ended in 2011.

He rejected the Obama administration directive on transgender bathrooms

In May, the federal government directed school districts to allow students to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with. The directive came as criticism crescendoed around a North Carolina law that would have restricted the use of bathrooms.

Along with many other conservatives, Pence opposed Obama’s directive and said it was a state issue. “The federal government has not business getting involved in issues of this nature,” Pence said.

Trump’s Brand New DC Hotel get Vandalized

Over the weekend, Trump brand new hotel got trashed.

As you can see in the pic, there are messages with Black Lives Matter and No Justice No Peace. As of now, there's no one held accountable for this, so it could've been anyone.

I do think it's funny, I could care less about the vandalization. However, I can imagine the Alt-Right will blame Black folks for this.
